1- Follow bridle trail to marker  A  . Turn sharp left onto Sugarloaf Trail 0.26 0.26
2- Sugarloaf Trail turns sharp right and continues straight up. Follow to the top of Sugarloaf. 0.28 0.54
3- Follow trail to the top of Sugarloaf 0.24 0.78
4- Continue down Sugarloaf to marker  B   0.34 1.12
This is a tricky intersection. DO NOT take the first right.     
5- Continue to just past Marker B and take the right turn marked Shawnee Ridge. 0.02 1.14
6- Veer Right at intersection to continue following Shawnee Ridge Trail. 0.02 1.16
7- Proceed on Shawnee Ridge to a "T"-shaped intersection. Turn left and continue to follow Shawnee Ridge Trail. 0.3 1.46
8- Continue on Shawnee Ridge past an intersection which offers a left turn option. Continue straight. 0.35 1.81
9- Continue on Shawnee Ridge Trail to marker   C  . You will see a sign that says "Mt Ives" 0.1 1.91
Veer right at marker C to continue on Shawnee Ridge.    
10- Veer right at intersection for Bald Hill and continue on Shawnee Ridge down a narrow overgrown trail. 0.21 2.12
11- Veer left at "Y"-shaped intersection. 0.18 2.3
12- Turn sharp left at bottom of hill. 0.09 2.39
13- Follow Shawnee Ridge on crumbling asphalt to marker  D  .  Turn sharp left at Marker D. There is  0.08 2.47
another one of the "Mt Ives" signs here.    
14- Climb up to marker  F  . This is the first intersection for Sand Hill Trail. Continue straight on Shawnee Ridge. 0.13 2.6
15- Proceed on Shawnee Ridge to marker  H  . This is the second intersection with Sand Hill Trail. Turn right. 0.5 3.1
16- Cross Rocky Road. 0.14 3.24
17- Follow Shawnee Ridge Trail past tower on top of hill.  0.15 3.39
18- Continue down gravel road to maintenance area- Aid Station #2 0.2 3.59
19- Continue on Shawnee Ridge. Turn right at Marker  I  (Grouse Rock Trail).  0.32 3.91
20- Continue straight on Grouse Rock Trail to Marker  J. Turn right and cross Lick Run Road. 1.01 4.92
21- Proceed to marker  R  . Turn sharp right and climb up. 0.35 5.27
22- Keep climbing to marker  Q  . Turn sharp right onto Bunker Hill Trail. 0.63 5.9
23- Follow Bunker Hill Trail  for 1.56 miles. Come to a 4-way intersection where Shawnee Ridge Trail crosses 1.5 7.4
Bunker Hill Trail- Marker P. Turn right onto Shawnee Ridge Trail.    
24- Follow Shawnee Ridge Trail a short distance down to Marker O. 0.02 7.42
25-  Veer right onto Lick Run Trail. 0.02 7.44
26- Proceed on Lick Run to marker  N  . Turn left and climb up. 1.34 8.78
27- Climb to the top of ridge. Veer left at Marker X. Continue to Marker Z. Veer right. 0.58 9.36
28- Descend to Marker O. Turn right onto mountain bike trail. Come to Marker EE. Go right. 0.15 9.51
29- Follow mountain bike trail to Marker DD. 0.43 9.94
30- Continue on mountain bike trail to the mountain bike trailhead- Aid Station #3 0.45 10.39
31- Turn right at the AS and head back into woods on the mountain bike trail. Continue to Marker M. 0.09 10.48
32- Turn left at Marker M and follow the Mt. Ives Trail. Cross the creek. Cross Lick Run Road and re-enter the 0.05 10.53
woods. Continue to follow the Mt. Ives Trail.    
33- You will come to an unmarked intersection. Turn right to continue on Mt. Ives Trail. 0.28 10.81
34- Continue to marker  L  . Turn sharp left onto Rocky Knob Trail. 0.15 10.96
35- Continue on Rocky Knob Trail to marker  K  . Turn right onto Shawnee Ridge and go up. 1.2 12.16
36- Follow Shawnee Ridge past  Rock Garden 1 intersection, and past 0.16 12.32
37- Rock Graden 2. 0.1 12.42
38- Pass marker  I  .  0.2 12.62
39- Continue on Shawnee Ridge Trail to AS#2. 0.32 12.94
40- Proceed on Shawnee Ridge Trail past the tower.  0.15 13.09
41- Cross Rocky Road. 0.14 13.23
42- Proceed straight past marker  H  . Follow Sand Hill Trail, straight ahead. 0.2 13.43
43- Proceed to marker  G  (This is where the huge boulders are). Go straight through the  0.2 13.63
intersection at the boulders and proceed on Sand Hill Trail.    
44- Follow Sand Hill Trail down through switchbacks to marker  E  . Turn right and follow Bald Hill Trail up. 0.61 14.24
45- Continue .10 mile and pass the intersection for Bald Hill on your left. Continue past junk car. 0.06 14.3
46- Veer left at intersection to stay on Bald Hill Trail. Climb Bald Hill. 0.04 14.34
Pick-up a rock and drop on the pile at the top of Bald Hill :)    
47- Proceed on Bald Hill to marker  C  . Veer right to stay on Shawnee Ridge Trail. 0.5 14.84
48- Continue straight on Shawnee Ridge past the intersection. 0.1 14.94
49- Continue straight ahead past the right turn for Shawnee Ridge. 0.35 15.29
Continue towards the Frisbee Golf Trails. The trail will curve to the left & right and go downhill.    
Turn left and follow Frisbee Golf Trails to hole #8.    
Continue to follow the course markers through the frisbee golf trails.    
50- Marker HH. 3-Way intersection. Follow the middle trail. 0.11 15.4
51- Cross the park road and re-enter the trail. Follow the trail to the campground road. 0.6 16
Turn left onto the campground road.     
Finish- Follow the campground road to the Start/Finish area. 0.2 16.2
Total: 16.2  


Note:  the 100 mile 4.4 and 50 mile 2 mile loops will be ran first.  After the smaller loops are ran the remaining race will be the full larger 16.2 mile loop

4.4 Mile Loop (100 Milers Only)
S- START in the campgrounds and enter trail behind the park restrooms
1- Follow bridle trail to marker  A  . Turn sharp left onto Sugarloaf Trail
2- Sugarloaf Trail turns sharp right and continues straight up. Follow to the top of Sugarloaf.
3- Follow trail to the top of Sugarloaf
4- Continue down Sugarloaf to marker  B  
This is a tricky intersection. DO NOT take the first right. 
5- Continue to just past Marker B and take the right turn marked Shawnee Ridge.
6- Veer Right at intersection to continue following Shawnee Ridge Trail.
7- Proceed on Shawnee Ridge to a "T"-shaped intersection. Turn left and continue to follow Shawnee Ridge Trail.
8- Continue on Shawnee Ridge past an intersection which offers a left turn option. Continue straight.
9- Continue on Shawnee Ridge Trail to marker   C  . You will see a sign that says "Mt Ives"
10- Veer right at marker C to continue on Shawnee Ridge. Continue on Shawnee Ridge to Bald Hill intersection.
11- Turn left onto Bald Hill Trail at intersection.
12- Continue .23 mile. Veer left at intersection.
13- Follow for .56 mile, back to marker C
14- Veer right to stay on Shawnee Ridge Trail.
15- Continue straight on Shawnee Ridge past the intersection.
16- Continue straight ahead past the right turn for Shawnee Ridge.
Continue towards the Frisbee Golf Trails. The trail will curve to the left & right and go downhill.
Turn left and follow Frisbee Golf Trails to hole #8.
Continue to follow the course markers through the frisbee golf trails.
17- Marker HH. 3-Way intersection. Follow the middle trail.
18- Cross the park road and re-enter the trail. Follow the trail to the campground road.
Turn left onto the campground road. 
Finish- Follow the campground road to the Start/Finish area.
 
2 Mile Loop (50 Milers Only)
S- START in the campgrounds and enter trail behind the park restrooms
1- Follow bridle trail to marker  A  . Turn sharp left onto Sugarloaf Trail
2- Sugarloaf Trail turns sharp right and continues straight up. Follow to the top of Sugarloaf.
3- Follow trail to the top of Sugarloaf
4- Continue down Sugarloaf to marker  B  
5- Turn Right. Continue on Shawnee Ridge Trail.
6- Veer Right at intersection to continue following Shawnee Ridge Trail.
7- Proceed on Shawnee Ridge to a "T"-shaped intersection. Turn right.
Continue towards the Frisbee Golf Trails. The trail will curve to the left & right and go downhill.
Turn left and follow Frisbee Golf Trails to hole #8.
Continue to follow the course markers through the frisbee golf trails.
8- Marker HH. 3-Way intersection. Follow the middle trail.
9- Cross the park road and re-enter the trail. Follow the trail to the campground road.
Turn left onto the campground road. 
Finish- Follow the campground road to the Start/Finish area.
